Ingredients

  1. 1 block of Tofu (drain all the water)
  2. Olive oil
  3. Soy sauce (to taste)
  4. 2 tablespoon White Miso
  5. 2 tablespoon Almond butter
  6. ½ teaspoon brown rice syrup
  7. 1 sheet seaweed (slice them about 1inch thick strip)

Directions

  1. Cut the tofu to about ½ - ¾ inch thick slices.
  2. Add some olive oil in a frying pan and heat the pan in a medium- high heat.
  3. Add the sliced tofu in the pan and let it fry. When the tofu is sizzling add some soy sauce on the top and let it fly till its golden brown.
  4. Once it’s golden brown, remove the tofu from the pan and let it cool down in a paper towel (to absorb the oil) for about 20 – 25 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, add the miso, almond butter and brown rice syrup. Combine the ingredients until it’s mixed well.
  6. Take two tofu slices and spread the mixture in the bottom slice. Close the other slice like a sandwich.
  7. Take a strip of seaweed, dip it in water and gently wrap it around the middle of the sandwich.
